We are a team...

There are a lot of things you can learn on the projects. These things are important not only for your personality but also for your future. Our world requires individualistic people but also able to work in a team. Working in a team can give you a lot. For example you can share your knowledge and extend your communication skills.

We were spread into different groups every day to work together on tasks. The importance of it was to find the right idea on which could the team work. The special thing on the project Eight Intelligences was that everybody could show it's talent to the others. You don't have to be excellent in all eight intelligences but you can be really good in one. That is a great opportunity to help the others in your team to get better in it and you can learn some new abilities from the others.

How can your life change with Eight Intelligences?

The project 'Eight Intelligences 2' lasted 10 days in Struga, Macedonia. All 56 participants tried very hard to find all their intelligences and the way how to improve them. This project gave us not only new knowledge and abilities but also new friendships, opportunities and time to find ourselves.

Let's watch the insights from 5 participants: Cémal (Turkey), Nikola (Serbia), Ismail (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Monika (Lithuania) and Nikola (Macedonia).

Rag-dolls and Michaels Jordans...

'The core elements of the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence are control of one's bodily motions and the capacity to handle objects skillfully.[7] Gardner elaborates to say that this also includes a sense of timing, a clear sense of the goal of a physical action, along with the ability to train responses.' - Wikipedia

Estrogen and Testosterone, the jing and jang, melted together in exercises which helped us to discover to which degree we basically lost or preserved our longest lasting area of psyche - the ability to control your muscles (run forest, run) . Together we prepared dance preformances of different genre and participated in wedding. So yeah... long life Nikola and Ivana!!!

Good communication is as stimulating as a black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after - Annie Morrow Lindbergh

Language is powerful stuff... You can destroy or create anything you want with it... And to which degree you can play Shiva, our fellow participants were about to discover by a creative task in the beautiful and overflowing with inspiration, village of Vevchani.

"Once upon a time there was a boy named Vevchani. He was living with his mother and him and his mother were living a simple but happy life. One day the king of this village went to a trip far away. And the bad news has arrived to the village. The king was so sick and the only thing that could save him was schopska salad. Everybody was very sad and they didn't know what to do… The boy, Verchani was the bravest of the village. He said: “ I volunteer as tribute”. So, he got prepared and said goodbye to his old mother and to his village. He traveled all around the country and found the most red tomatoes, the best cheese from a golden cow’s breasts milk. He fought with the green dragon for the green peepers. And he went to the schopska fairy, to ask her to prepare the salad. When she heard his story , she loved this brave village boy and made the salad and she added some extra fairy dust. And finally the salad was ready . The boy , took the salad to his king. And when the king took the first piece of it, he got healty immediately and he felt reborn. After a day , they went back to their village. Where were huge celebrations but Verchani was a very modest boy and he didn't want to get any credits for it. He went to his mother and started to do his daily, happy life. The celebrations  continued for day. One day Vevchani milked the cows and he was talking this milk to his ill mother. And when he was in the middle of his way, the king saw him and yelled: This is the bravest boy, so you should offer your respects to him. And the people started to run upon him to show their  love to him. But Vevchani  was so shy and he got scared. He started to run and his milk in the bucket started to spoil to the ground. And every drop that touched  the ground started to spring water. And springs grew lots and lots, after some time the floods took all over  the place. Everyone was running and flood killed all of them. After  many years this place was named after this modest boy."

Cémal... Really good stuff man!

I can meditate the soul of me.

SWOT - similar as SWAT but instead of securing terrorists and peace activists this four letter represents the inner commando of self exploration.

S - Strengths
W - Weaknesses
O - Opportunities
T - Threats

Get the A4 out of your printer and split it in 4 parts and let your mind redesign itself.
In each pole you write one letter S, W, O, T. Now when you get this done you write your personal strengts in the pole with S, Weaknesses in W etc... When your are finished with your input and your brain is swollen and it hurts (that mean that you have done good job ;) ), then you start to exploring tactics how to turn your Weaknesses into Strengths and Threats into Opportunities.

WARNING: Life may stop to hurt after the exercise (which in case you are mental masochist as, It can cause you discomfort)

Numbers, numbers everywhere...

Logical and mathematical intelligence. You know those guys who just love math, numbers, and who reminds of cold machines? Participants were testing their inner nerd by various tests, playful (sometimes stressful) exercises helped them to see how much they can swim in the sea of numbers and make "rational" deductions.

Let´s see what Wikipedia has to say about it:
'This area has to do with logic, abstractions, reasoning, numbers and critical thinking.[7] This also has to do with having the capacity to understand the underlying principles of some kind of causal system.[6] Logical reasoning is closely linked to fluid intelligence and to general intelligence (g factor).[9]'

- so that was the encyclopedia... let's see how theory can take the pressure and get some useful insight - you want to work in NASA calculating stuff?

How much soil is in 2 cm x 2 cm x 4 cm hole? (ANSWER BELOW)

Solution : There is no soil... it is a hole...

RESULT CHART  - HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU?
5 sec - 10 sec = YOU are new hope for humanity, you can probably decode Matrix and become new Hawking

10 sec - 1 min = Well... maybe not Hawking but... high school math teacher... - how does it sounds to you?

1 min - ??? = You are missing one important part of your brain... Play some chess, eat and sleep well and DO NOT DRINK ANYMORE! :)

The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (8 Intelligences)

The theory of multiple intelligences is a theory of intelligence that differentiates it into specific (primarily sensory) "modalities", rather than seeing intelligence as dominated by a single general ability. This model was proposed by Howard Gardner in his 1983 book Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Gardner articulated seven criteria for a behavior to be considered an intelligence.[1] These were that the intelligences showed: potential for brain isolation by brain damage, place in evolutionary history, presence of core operations, susceptibility to encoding (symbolic expression), a distinct developmental progression, the existence of savants, prodigies and other exceptional people, and support from experimental psychology and psychometric findings.
Gardner chose eight abilities that he held to meet these criteria:[2] musical–rhythmic, visual–spatialverbal–linguistic, logical–mathematical, bodily–kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. He later suggested that existential and moral intelligence may also be worthy of inclusion.[3] Although the distinction between intelligences has been set out in great detail, Gardner opposes the idea of labeling learners to a specific intelligence. Each individual possesses a unique blend of all the intelligences. Gardner firmly maintains that his theory of multiple intelligences should "empower learners", not restrict them to one modality of learning.[4]
Gardner argues intelligence is categorized into three primary or overarching categories, those of which are formulated by the abilities. According to Gardner, intelligence is: 1) The ability to create an effective product or offer a service that is valued in a culture, 2) a set of skills that make it possible for a person to solve problems in life, and 3) the potential for finding or creating solutions for problems, which involves gathering new knowledge.[5]
Those who believe in one kind of intelligence think that all intelligence comes from a single factor. They back up this idea with the fact that there is a high positive correlation between intelligence quotient (IQ) and the ability to complete simple cognitive tasks and between reaction time and intelligence.

I. Logical and mathematical intelligence
II. Visual - spatial intelligence
III. Linguistic intelligence
IV. Bodily - kinesthetic intelligence
V. Musical intelligence
VI. Intrapersonal intelligence
VII. Interpersonal intelligence
VIII. Naturalistic intelligence
